In this annual rendezvous with word and action, Folie/Culture proposed a multi-disciplinary evening around the theme of alienation. Presented as both the loss of a thing and of an essence, and as the invasion by the foreign and the loss of identity, alienation has become a concept that includes all illnesses and allows all confusions. We chose to juxtapose alienation with the notion of otherness by inviting Amerindian and neo-Québécois poets and artists.
