Garde-fou Prize 2017 – Édouard Reny Coulombe

In keeping with its longstanding commitment to supporting the creative work of young artists, Folie/Culture awarded the 2017 Prix Garde-Fou to Édouard Rény Coulombe, a graduating BFA student at Université Laval, on May 23.The $400 award is given annually to a graduating student whose work emerges from an unorthodox research process and reflects Folie/Culture’s mission. Congratulations, Édouard !

This year’s jury members were Delphine Hébert, Sylvie Larouche and Céline Marcotte.

Édouard Rény Coulombe’s installation was exhibited at the Université Laval graduating BFA students’ exhibition, Entre-temps, les choses se pensent, which ran May 18–28, 2017, at 281, rue Saint-Vallier Est, in Quebec City.
