Folie/Culture at the 22e nuit des sans-abri
Thank you to the many people who came to support Folie/Culture participating in the Un abri pour la nuit contest. The Folie/Culture team made up of artists Mathieu Gotti, Mathieu Fecteau, Jean-Pierre Guay, Alexandra Cantin Martineau, Marion Gotti and Céline Marcotte, literally triumphed! Organized by the Regroupement pour l’aide aux itinérants et itinérantes de Québec at the 22e Nuit des sans-abri in Québec, the competition Un abri pour la nuit was an opportunity for five teams from all walks of life to compete amicably in the building of cardboard houses. Popular vote determined the best homeless shelter, and Folie/Culture was selected from among all the entrees! The 22e nuit des sans-abri took place across Québec in order to break down indifference, reduce prejudice against homeless people and to show our solidarity. Congratulations to Folie/Culture for its victory and its noteworthy participation!
