5 February-28 March
Since 2000, Folie/Culture has been offering Ateliers FC, designed for people who are, or have been, affected by mental health issues. These are creative workshops in a variety of artistic techniques and media, led by professional artists and offered free of charge to Folie/Culture members.
SPLIT-LEVEL / Pièces jointes
For 2025, we are pleased to present SPLIT-LEVEL / Pièces jointes, a series of interdisciplinary workshops combining literary exploration and sound creation. Led by artists Stéphanie Letarte and Simon Brown, these workshops draw on the domestic universe to transform the everyday into a source of poetry and sound experimentation.
The workshops are divided into two parts: the first focuses on exploratory writing, enabling participants to develop a poetic and experimental approach to language based on domestic objects, while the second is devoted to performing and recording texts as simple sound sculptures.
Each workshop explores a different room in the house, and participants are free to choose their theme combinations between the two blocks.
Block 1 – literary exploration
- Sunday, February 16, 1pm to 4pm – the bathroom
- Thursday, February 20, 6pm to 9pm – playroom / basement
- Friday, February 28, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. – bedroom
- Wednesday, March 5, 6-9pm – kitchen / hallway
