Quémander l’affection on the road
Participant(s): Guy Blackburn
Travelling in a 48-foot trailer, this itinerant exhibition of sculpture-installations by Guy Blackburn made stops in eight Québec cities. Quémander l’affection comprised a group of installations on the theme of emotional desire. It was presented in collaboration with Folie/Culture and numerous regional partners. In tandem with the exhibition, the film by Jean-Michel Carré, Visiblement je vous aime (Obviously I Need You), was projected on the side of the trailer.
This fictionalized documentary was about a remarkable meeting among a group of marginalized people at a mental health service in the South of France, and constituted a different way of portraying the theme of emotional desire.
